Objectives:

Introduce the concepts associated with risk assessment;
Describe the main steps of a risk assessment;
Compare the advantages and limitations of risk analysis;
Explore qualitative and quantitative methods of risk assessment;
Define the principles underlying the control of risks.

Evaluation:

Assessment: Final exam (40%) and individual/group work to be defined (60%).
